Making a difference …
I want to share with you my thoughts, opinions, and commentary on living in South Africa today. Because it’s only by addressing issues head on – such as education, unemployment, healthcare, HIV/Aids, crime, and poverty – that we can transform South Africa to reach its highest potential.
As the National Chairman of the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP), my worldview revolves around democratic principles and Christian family values. I’m passionate about South Africa and its success as a nation, and this has been my driving force while serving in the KwaZulu-Natal legislature since 1996 and as the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee. I also chair two charities that are close to my heart – Bobbi Bear and Lets Work.
With a Masters degree in Public Policy and Finance, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from London University, I was drawn to the world of politics, and the ACDP. I believe the ACDP’s commitment to integrity, wisdom and accountability can make a difference.
I love to hear your thoughts and commentary on living in South Africa so feel free to add comments to any of the posts on this blog. Let’s make a difference together.
